Chronicos IBD

How the Crohn’s and UC diary works

What the app does today: logging, a visit PDF, meds, toilets. We are not a medical device and we do not diagnose. Other chronic conditions are a later product decision.

Boundaries

What we deliberately don’t do

  • Diagnose This is not a medical device
  • Say “eat this” or “change your med” That kind of advice can harm
  • Call a result “normal” That call belongs to your doctor
  • Require an account The diary works on-device; account and sync are optional

Features

From logging to the visit

01

Why Chronicos IBD exists

A system for Crohn’s and UC. It turns labs, meds, symptoms, and notes into a disease history so you can prepare more calmly for a gastroenterologist visit and handle ordinary days outside the clinic.

02

How you log

Quick meals with traits during the day (e.g. dairy, fatty). Separately, one day summary: pain, energy, stool, blood, urgency. Analysis also looks one and two days later.

03

First launch

Three short slides about the idea, then privacy, notification intensity, an optional account, and your profile (Crohn’s or UC). Tabs show a short tip the first time you open each one.

04

Signal

Home screen: week summary and one main button for what to log next. From here you also open Analysis, toilets, or the next meal.

05

Diary

Logged days with meals and how you felt. At the top, a range summary (7 / 14 / 30 days) and comparison with the previous period. The full pain trend stays in Analysis.

06

Meds

Medication list with doses, “Taken” for today, and “X of Y marked” status. Your list and reminders, not a judgment of treatment.

07

Analysis and disease History

Overview: pain trend, metrics, and patterns (food, sleep, meds, labs). History: monthly periods, treatment starts, labs, and observational before/after windows around a medication start. No diagnoses and no “the drug works” claims.

08

PDF report

The key pre-visit feature. Pick a period, review a 15-second summary, and share a PDF: comparison with the previous period, symptoms, labs, meds, food observations, and questions for your gastroenterologist. Conversation material, not a medical document.

09

Labs, knowledge, notifications

Manual CRP, calprotectin, and blood-count entries with trends over time. A short IBD knowledge library. Reminders for the day summary and meds. Diary intensity can be Calm, Regular, Persistent, or Off.

10

Toilets: life between visits

Find the nearest toilet when you really need one. See access and distance, then start navigation. The PDF report is for the gastro visit. This feature helps on ordinary days outside the clinic.

11

Calendar

Under More there is a calendar for visits, planned labs, and other dates. The nearest visit shows on Signal. Three days before a visit we’ll remind you about the PDF report, the day before a lab about the appointment. You can add a single event to the calendar on your phone. We do not sync the whole phone calendar.
